Company and Position Overview: Super Sun Farm is a retail business specializing in fresh fruits, vegetables, grocery products and other everyday food items. The Retail Store Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store and coordinating the activities of retail employees. The position ensures that customers receive efficient service, products are properly stocked and displayed, inventory levels are maintained, and employees follow company policies, food-safety requirements and workplace procedures. The supervisor also assists with staff training, scheduling, cash handling, customer concerns, product quality control and opening or closing the store.

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Responsibilities
Tasks
• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of cashiers, shelf stockers, produce clerks and other retail employees.
• Assign duties, prepare work schedules and monitor employee attendance and performance.
• Train new employees on customer service, cash register procedures, product handling, workplace safety and store policies.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service and resolve customer concerns, complaints and product-related inquiries.
• Monitor the quality and freshness of fruits, vegetables and other grocery products.
• Ensure expired, spoiled or damaged products are removed from display areas promptly.
• Maintain proper product displays, pricing labels, promotional signs and shelf organization.
• Monitor inventory levels and prepare orders for produce, groceries, packaging materials and store supplies.
• Receive deliveries, verify quantities and inspect products for quality and damage.
• Authorize payments, refunds, exchanges and merchandise returns according to company policies.
• Operate the point-of-sale system, process customer transactions and balance cash registers at the end of each shift.
• Maintain sales, inventory, delivery and employee performance records.
• Ensure the store, checkout counters, storage areas and produce displays remain clean, organized and safe.
• Assist management with implementing sales promotions, merchandising plans and customer service standards.
• Enforce workplace health and safety, food-handling and sanitation procedures.
• Open and close the store when required and ensure all security procedures are followed.
• Perform the duties of supervised employees during busy periods or staff shortages.
