Duties and Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and implement strategic database models and blueprints to securely track luxury kitchen and bath inventory assets across multiple GTA locations.
• Configure, deploy, and set up the underlying IT network infrastructure and server environments to allow internal software applications to reliably access inventory databases.
• Test physical data models and database management systems (DBMS) to ensure seamless, bug-free data synchronization between online sales channels and warehouse fulfillment systems.
• Document ongoing data reporting needs, raw SQL queries, data flow logic, performance results, and technical recommendations for systems optimization.
• Enact rigorous database security measures and firewall permissions to ensure unauthorized users cannot access transactional data, customer information, or vendor accounts.
• Develop, execute, and monitor formal policies and procedures for network access controls, user tracking, and automated secure database backup and disaster recovery.
• Operate database management systems to query, clean, and analyze high-volume product SKU datasets, sales histories, and logistical tracking metrics.
• Liaise directly with showroom consultants, shipping clerks, and management staff to evaluate internal data requirements, coordinate data availability, and clean up localized user entry errors.
• Develop, maintain, and audit comprehensive document inventories and digital records tracking real-time stock levels across all active warehouses.
• Requisition manufacturing materials, retail showroom supplies, and inbound luxury kitchen/bath stock based on algorithmic system thresholds.
• Oversee the structural analysis of shipping, receiving, and storage data to prepare high-level logistics and warehouse utilization performance reports for executive review.
• Plan, track, and manage specific operational budgets relating to freight distribution, multi-location logistics, and warehouse material handling costs.
