Job Details

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Tax Manager to oversee our company’s tax planning, compliance, and reporting functions. This role is responsible for ensuring adherence to all applicable tax laws while optimizing tax strategies to support business growth. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with strong leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee all aspects of corporate tax compliance, including federal, state/provincial, and local filings
Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities and ensure regulatory compliance
Review and approve tax returns, provisions, and supporting documentation
Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the organization
Lead audits and liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and consultants
Supervise and mentor junior tax staff, providing guidance and professional development
Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
Identify process improvements and implement best practices in tax operations
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, CA, or equivalent preferred)
5–8+ years of experience in tax accounting or tax advisory
Strong knowledge of corporate tax laws and regulations
Experience with tax software and financial systems
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Strong leadership and team management abilities
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Preferred Skills
Experience in a public accounting firm or corporate tax department
Familiarity with international tax regulations (if applicable)
Advanced proficiency in Excel or financial reporting tools
