AURORA WONDERLAND AND TOURS INC. (dba Aurora Wonderland & Beck’s Kennels Tours) is seeking a Tour Guide for their Aurora Borealis and Sled Dog tours in Yellowknife.
Full-time, $22.00 per hour, bonus depends on performance, 30-40 hours per week.
Duties:
• Escort individuals or groups on scheduled tours of the Aurora Borealis;
• Escort individuals or groups on scheduled sled dog tours;
• Describe the Aurora Borealis and sled dogs, answer questions, and provide information
• about points of interest on the tours;
• Provide historical and scientific facts about the phenomenon;
• Offer additional attraction packages while on tour;
• Ensure safety of all travellers on group tours.

Requirements:
• On-the-job training is provided;
• English language ability required;
• Secondary school completion is an asset;
• Experience in Aurora viewing and sled dog tours are an asset;
• Driver’s license is an asset;
• Japanese and Chinese language is an asset.
