Job Description
Plan and organize day?to?day construction operations to ensure work progresses efficiently.
Coordinate and oversee the activities of subcontractors to maintain workflow and quality standards.
Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and volunteers involved in project operations.
Select appropriate trade subcontractors based on project requirements and qualifications.
Prepare construction schedules, set milestones, and monitor progress to keep projects on track.
Evaluate daily operations and make adjustments to improve productivity and performance.
Manage project budgets, including preparing and submitting cost estimates.
Direct the purchasing of building materials and oversee land acquisition when required.
Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements.
Establish and implement policies and procedures to support quality control across all project phases.
Develop and execute quality control programs to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
Develop risk?management plans to identify, assess, and mitigate potential project risks.
Oversee the analysis of project data and information to support decision?making.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide construction activities.
Prepare detailed reports documenting project progress, issues, and outcomes.
