Shig’s Enterprises Limited is looking for two permanent full-time assistant cooks at our Japanese grocery store, Fujiya Japanese Foods.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook Japanese meals for bento (boxed meals), deli menus, and other catering menus
- Plan and create new menus and ensure food meets quality standards
- Fill in for or assist the head chef
- Responsible for scheduling and substituting when the head chef is off-duty
- Instruct kitchen helpers
- Clean kitchen and work area

Compensation: $21.00/hour, 40.00 hrs/week, 10days paid vacation, bonus depending on performance
