On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Responsibilities
Tasks
• Overseeing and actively participating in the preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of meals.
• Designing menus, creating new recipes, and curating daily specials based on seasonal ingredients.
• Ensuring every dish leaving the kitchen meets the establishment's standards for taste, temperature, and visual appeal.
• Tracking food supplies and kitchen equipment, ordering raw materials, and minimizing waste to maintain cost.
• Supervising cooks and prep workers, delegating daily tasks.
• Mentoring junior chefs and instructing staff on new cooking techniques, recipes, and equipment usage
• Enforcing and following strict sanitation, health, and hygiene guidelines.
