Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities
Duties of assistant manage include, but not limited to, the following:
Plan and organize daily operations: ensure Front End if fully prepped before each day opening, ensure cleanliness and sanitation front end including restroom facilities, and monitor front end operations for smooth service during each shift ;
Set staff work schedules and make sure staff are punctual and ready, and supervise staff;
Provide customer service, address customers' complaints or concerns, and ensure customers are happy visiting our restaurant;
Organize and maintain inventory: Monitor stock and maintain the inventory of food products, supplies and equipment;
Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget
Estimate food requirements, monitor costs, and order supplies as required; and
Report to manager about discrepancies, faulty equipment and maintenance issues.

Qualifications
1 year to less than 2 years of working experience as a restaurant assistant manager;
College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years;
Food Safety Certificate and Knowledge of food safety standards and practices;
Good organizational skills and able to work in a fast-paced environment;
Knowledge of Vietnamese cuisine and experience of Vietnamese cuisine cook is an asset; and
Strong communication skills and Vietnamese communication is an asset.

5 days/week
Average 40 hours/week
