Connex Global Communications Inc., operating as Phonebox in Vancouver, British Columbia, is seeking a Back End Developer to join its team.

The applicant should have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or completion of a college program in a related field, or a minimum of one year of experience working as a Back-end web developer. This is a full-time role requiring 30–40 hours per week, with a pay rate of $39.00 per hour.

Job Description

Some of Job duties of Back End Developer will be:

• Develop, write, modify, integrate and test Web site related code and web application interfaces
• Perform testing and analyze data to monitor quality, security, user interface experiences and to identify areas for improvement
• Create and implement procedures for ongoing website updates and revisions
• Monitor and maintain Web site functionality
• May participate in Web site architecture and design in collaboration with designers or clients
• Research and evaluate a variety of interactive media software products.
