Our client is seeking up to three (3) Senior Business Analysts for various projects within the organization.
These Business Analysts will support a wide range of initiatives and must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills. They should thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and technology-driven environment. Candidates are required to have proven experience in effective communication, leadership, problem-solving, documentation standards, change management, and quality control.
The Business Analysts will be assigned to different projects based on organizational needs and may report to various project or program managers, directors, or other leaders, depending on the specific initiative. This flexible role requires the ability to adapt quickly, build strong working relationships, and achieve results across multiple teams and business areas.
Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements for projects across various areas of the organization.
- Identify, document, and validate mappings between source system data fields and the corresponding Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR).
- Prepare clear, accurate, and audience-appropriate documentation, presentations, and decision items, including materials for senior leadership.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to ensure requirements are fully understood and implemented.
- Facilitate meetings and workshops, and support discussions with multi-disciplinary stakeholders while documenting and communicating outcomes.
- Develop test strategies and plans, and coordinate testing activities, including user acceptance testing.
- Troubleshoot and work with appropriate teams to resolve interoperability issues between systems.
- Analyze data related to interoperability, document current and future state processes, and assess the impact of proposed changes.
- Create process flows, user stories, use cases, metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to support organizational objectives.
- Write, proofread, and edit a variety of technical and end-user documentation.
- Support testing, quality assurance, and go-live activities.
- Assist in the evaluation and selection of technology solutions to meet business needs.
- Support change management efforts by effectively communicating project impacts and benefits.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and contribute to mitigation strategies.
- Adapt to shifting priorities and work effectively with multiple teams across the organization to achieve successful outcomes.
Mandatory Resource Qualifications/Requirements
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in a Business Analyst role within a healthcare setting.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience working on data integration or interoperability projects.
Rated Resource Qualifications/Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:
- The ability to convert business requirements into technical specifications for data integration and reporting in a highly complex, integrated environment.
- Previous experience eliciting, documenting, and validating requirements.
- Proven experience with Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) and Health Level 7 (HL7) protocols.
- Familiarity with relevant technologies and industry standards. with one or more major Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
Possesses the ability to communicate complex issues effectively to all levels in the organization, such as senior leaders, clinicians, frontline staff, etc.
Possesses the ability to navigate and build strong relationships in a large, complex multi-enterprise environment that includes customers with difficult and/or competing needs;
Proven history of being a conceptual thinker with excellent communication, facilitation, leadership, and consulting skills;
Previous experience developing test strategies, plans and coordinating testing activities
