Job Description

Specific Skills:
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and building plans to determine work requirements.
• Measure, cut, and shape wood, wood substitutes, and other materials with precision.
• Install trim, moulding, baseboards, and crown moulding to enhance interiors.
• Fit and install doors, windows, stairs, cabinets, and hardware with attention to fine detail.
• Sand, stain, and polish wood surfaces for a smooth, finished appearance.
• Ensure all work meets building codes and quality standards.
• Repair and refurbish existing structures such as doors, cabinetry, and staircases.
• Collaborate with designers, clients, and other tradespeople to meet aesthetic and functional goals.
• Operate hand tools and power tools such as saws, nail guns, sanders, and measuring equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment during finishing activities.
