Tamaru Shoten Marketing Corp is seeking Five (5) Food Service Supervisors for its various restaurants in Vancouver.

Full-time; Permanent; $20 per hour; 30-40 hours per week. Extended health benefits available after 3 month probation period. Bonus available based on sales performance. Standard 6-8 hour shifts for this position could be scheduled anytime between 9:00am and 1am as required.

2. Kingyo, 871 Denman St, Vancouver
3. New Fuji, 1815 W 1st Ave, Vancouver
4. Raisu, 2340 W 4th Ave, Vancouver

Job Description
Duties:
- Opening and closing the restaurant, as needed;
- Supervise and schedule Food & Beverage Servers and kitchen helpers;
- Resolve customer complaints and inquiries;
- Screening resumes to arrange interviews for new hires;
- Provide on-the-job training for new Food & Beverage Servers;
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and food wastage, estimate and submit requests for new ingredients and supplies for restaurant operation;
- Ensure that food and service meet sanitation, health and quality control standards.

Requirements:
- Must have completed a college program in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management or related held OR at least 1 year of experience in food preparation or service;
- English language ability is required;
- Japanese language ability is an asset.
