Akedo Showten, located in Langley B.C., is seeking one Cook to join the team.

Permanent, full-time; $19.00 per hour; 30 to 40 hours per week. Bonus depending on work performance.

Standard 6-8 hours shifts for this position could be scheduled anytime between 9:30am to 10pm as required.

Job Description

Duties:
• Cook everything on the menu;
• Prepare Ramen ingredients and other Japanese food;
• Inspect ingredients for quality and freshness and supervise all food preparation;
• Give training to new cooking and kitchen staff on matters of hygiene, Japanese ramen techniques, and other matters.

Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of previous experience as a commercial cook;
• Previous experience with Japanese ramen cuisine is an asset;
• Japanese language ability is an asset;
• English language ability required.
