2387296 Ontario Ltd. (dba Ramen Isshin) is seeking an Assistant Food Service Supervisor for their Queen Street and College Street locations in Toronto, ON.

Permanent, full-time; 30-44 hours per week; $18.25 per hour. Bonus available based on performance.

Standard 6-8 hour shifts for this position could be scheduled anytime between 10:00am and 12:30am as required.

Job Description

Duties:
- Opening and closing the restaurant as needed;
- Supervise and schedule Food & Beverage Servers;
- Resolve customer complaints and inquiries;
- Provide on-the-job training for new Food & Beverage Servers;
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and food wastage, estimate and submit requests for new ingredients and supplies for restaurant operations;
- Ensure that food and service meets sanitation, health and quality control standards.

Qualifications:
- Secondary school completion preferred;
- At least 1 year of experience in food preparation or service;
- English language ability required;
- Japanese language ability is an asset.
