JOB DESCRIPTION

Food Service Supervisor [62020]

MAIN DUTIES:

• Supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of Kitchen Staff who prepare, portion, and pack food items.
• Establish work schedules as per the number of orders received each day and go over procedures.
• Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards established by the Establishment
• Estimate and place order for supplies and ingredients with the Manager and maintain records of wastage and stock.
• Monitor food production and service to ensure that planned menus are followed.


REQUIREMENTS:

• Completion of a program in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management or related work experience for minimum 1-2 years in food preparation or service is required.
• Follow health and safety standards.
• Must be a good team member with great relationships with other kitchen staff.
