Wheel Mart Canada Wholesale Inc., a subsidiary of the Wah Hung Group Inc., a major importer and wholesaler of automotive wheels and tires, is seeking an Assistant Manager for their Richmond, B.C operations.

Permanent; Full-time; $42 per hour; 35 hours per week. Regular working hours: Monday-Friday, from 9:00AM to 5:00PM (one hour lunch break).

Job Description
Duties:
- Plan, direct and evaluate the operations of company’s establishments in the wholesale and retail sales of tires, wheels and accessories;
- Support managers in organizing, planning and implementing strategy;
- Manage, supervise and support the personnel and assign duties;
- Organize daily activities and ensure schedules and objectives are met;
- Monitor and plan operating costs and budgets, authorize expenditures, and monitor revenues;
- Manage recruitment process, including the hiring, training, development and retention of staff;
- Studying market trends to assist the managers in determining consumer demand, potential sales volumes and effect of competitors' operations on sales;
- Assisting in negotiating and maintaining relationships with vendors in China when necessary to procure merchandise for resale.


Requirements:

- College diploma or degree in business administration or a related field;
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in wholesale sales, management or in a related field;
- English language ability is required;
- Solid knowledge of office procedures, financial and customer service principles;
- Strong leadership, organizational and problem-solving skills;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Significant knowledge in recruiting and performance evaluations is an asset.
