TBC North Food Services Inc. DBA Tim Hortons Restaurant located at 5000 Cordova Way, Fort Nelson BC Canada V0C 1R0 is looking for eight permanent, full-time ‘Food Service Supervisor’ to join the team.

Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Work Location: 5000 Cordova Way, Fort Nelson BC Canada V0C 1R0

Wage: $17.85 per hour; 35 hours per week

Number of positions: 8

Terms of Employment: Full-time and Permanent

Start Date: As Soon As Possible

Job Duties:
• Supervises team members to ensure primary and secondary duties are completed
• Provides ongoing, specific direction to team members
• Schedule shifts for staff members like team leaders, counter attendants
• Maintain adequate level of inventory and minimize stock wastage.
• Provide training to new employees
• Responds to guest service complaints in a timely manner and resolve them
• Perform same duties as workers supervised.
• Must be available to work for any shifts (morning, afternoon, evening and night) including weekends and holidays
• Assists the Restaurant Manager in driving sales and transactions during their shift
• Ensures health and safety policies are followed during the shift including documentation and reporting of any work related injuries or accidents
• Encourages an exciting and fun work environment while motivating team members to meet goals
• Leads by example and demonstrates the importance of treating every team member and guest with respect
• Works in compliance with the occupational health and safety legislation
• Complies with and enforces all Tim Hortons operating standards

Job Description

Job Requirements/Skills:
• Completion of high school is required
• Knowledge of English language is required
• Minimum one year of work experience required in the similar field.
• Must be prepared to work under pressure
