Overview
This an on-the-go job. The mechanic is required to work in and out of the company provided vehicle. All equipment will be on deck. If you’re someone who loves to be on the move and enjoys working in various locations, come join us!

Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Requirements:
• Must be lawfully authorized to work in Canada
- Canadian citizen
- Permanent resident of Canada
- Temporary resident of Canada with a valid work permit
• Ability to handle various tools (e.g. pliers) and heavy equipment (e.g. lift)
• Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods
• Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods
• Valid driver’s license



Responsibilities
Tasks
• Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
• Inspect mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
• Performing necessary repairs and replacements on various parts of the vehicle, including the engine, transmission, and brakes
• Providing quotes for clients for potential work and discussing the necessary repairs.
• Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems
• Estimate parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs
• Perform scheduled maintenance service
• Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
• Traveling to clients’ locations to assess and repair vehicles
• Communicating with clients about vehicle problems, maintenance needs, and repair options
• Staying updated on the latest vehicle models and repair techniques
