Education
- College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years

Experience
-Minimum 6 months relevant experience

On site
- Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
- Work sites in Perth ON, Carleton Place ON, and surrounding areas .

Tasks
- Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs
- Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements
- Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
- Estimate costs and materials
- Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets
- General Labourer duties as required

Equipment and machinery experience
- Hand tools & Power Tools

Starting Salary
$26 / hour. 40 hr work week. 7:00 am – 4:00 pm
