Job Description

Great 2 For 1 Pizza is seeking a reliable, organized, and motivated Food Service Supervisor to join our team in Langford, British Columbia. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising daily food service operations, coordinating kitchen staff, maintaining food quality and safety standards, and ensuring efficient customer service.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of staff involved in food preparation, portioning, and customer service.
- Establish work schedules and implement procedures to ensure timely and efficient operations.
- Train employees in job duties, food handling, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
- Monitor food preparation and service to ensure compliance with established quality standards.
- Estimate food ingredients and supplies required for daily operations.
- Requisition food, kitchen supplies, and other necessary materials.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, stock, sales, equipment repairs, and food wastage.
- Prepare food order summaries for the chef or kitchen staff.
- Respond professionally to customer complaints and concerns.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Education and Experience Requirements

- Completion of secondary (high) school education is required.
- A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant work experience in food service is required.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and customer service practices.
- Strong organizational, communication, and team supervision skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts according to business requirements.

- Work must be performed at the restaurant location in Langford, BC.
- The position involves supervising restaurant operations and coordinating with kitchen and service staff.
