Location: Toronto, Ontario – work must be completed in person at the employer’s private residence
Wage: $20.85 per hour
Hours: 32.5 hours per week
Schedule: Monday to Friday, daytime
Start date: As soon as possible

Requirements:
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
7 months to less than 1 year of childcare experience
Reliable, patient, honest and organized with strong interpersonal and communication skills

Job Description

Provide childcare in the employer’s private residence. Supervise and care for children; prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks; feed children and assist with age-appropriate feeding routines; change diapers and assist with toilet training as appropriate; bathe, dress and maintain children’s personal hygiene; maintain rest routines; organize age-appropriate games, activities, crafts and outings; support children’s social and emotional development; maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home; keep records of daily activities and health information as required; perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties related to the children; take children to and from appointments and activities as required; and communicate with parents regarding the children’s activities, development and well-being.
