Job Description

Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate the work of cabinetmakers, carpenters, and installation crews across shop production and on-site retail fixture and tenant improvement projects
- Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings to plan and assign work
- Schedule projects and coordinate timelines with project managers, clients, and other departments
- Order materials, tools, and supplies for shop and field work
- Coordinate delivery and installation schedules for custom fixtures, furniture, and millwork across multiple job sites
- Train and mentor cabinetmakers, carpenters, and apprentices on job tasks and installation techniques
- Enforce safety standards and WorkSafeBC compliance in the shop and on job sites
- Inspect completed work for quality and prepare progress reports for management and clients

Qualifications:
- Secondary school completion is required
- College Diploma or certification in a recognized construction/carpentry course preferred
- At least 3 years of experience as a carpenter or cabinetmaker is required
- Journeyman trade certification is required
- Red Seal endorsement is an asset
- English language ability is required
