Hoang Gia Restaurant in Kelowna, BC is looking for a (1) permanent full-time (30hr) Restaurant Assistant Manager.

Several years of relevant work experience?
Your duties:
• Assist the owner in planning, organizing and evaluating the operations of the restaurant.
• Based on the daily activities, determine and adjust types of services to provide customers.
• Assist the owner in hiring staff and be responsible for staff training for the front and the back departments.
• Schedule staff work and monitor staff performance
• Monitor daily revenues, cash reconciliation and pricing
• Resolve customers’ complaints and ensure safety protocol is strictly followed.
• Assist the owner in arrangements with customers for big events or catering.
Requirements:
• 2+ years of experience in food service sector in the kitchen or at the floor
• Completion of a college or hospitality and restaurant management program.
• Position requires shift work and flexible hours (morning, afternoon, late night closing, and/or weekends)

• Strong interpersonal & relationship skills.
• Passion for producing consistent high-quality dishes.
• Dedicated and hardworking; honest and responsible.
Remuneration:
• full-time 30hr/per week. $38.5 per/hr
