This is a permanent, full-time home childcare position in Toronto, paying $21 per hour for 30 hours per week for Child Caregiver - Private Home NOC 44100. Work schedule may include mornings, daytime hours, evenings and weekends. Exact schedule will be agreed upon with the successful candidate. Minimum three years of relevant experience providing childcare to multiple children, preferably children of different ages. The successful candidate must have a high school diploma, references and a satisfactory criminal record check.

Job Description

The caregiver will supervise children of different ages and provide comprehensive childcare, including feeding, bathing, dressing, school transportation, homework assistance, activities, toilet training and emotional support. Additional responsibilities include preparing meals, light housekeeping, shopping and occasionally travelling with the family. The position is on-site in a non-smoking private home and requires lifting up to 30 pounds. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, honest and demonstrates sound judgment.
