Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Personal & Bedside Care
• Provide daily bedside and personal care (grooming, bathing, hygiene, and mobility assistance).
• Administer prescribed medications as directed in the care plan.
• Assist the client with regular exercise routines, including accompanied daily walks.
• Offer patient and engaging companionship to maintain social and emotional well-being.
Nutrition & Daily Living
• Plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals tailored to therapeutic diets and dietary restrictions.
• Assist with meal setup and feeding as required.
Household Maintenance
• Perform light housekeeping, cleaning, and sanitizing of care areas.
• Launder, mend, and organize clothing and household linens.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Experience: 1 month to less than 7 months of direct home care or personal support experience.
• Certifications:
o Valid First Aid Certificate
o Valid CPR Certificate
• Safety Clearance: Satisfactory Criminal Record Check.
• Language: Fluent in spoken and written English.
Physical Capabilities & Work Conditions
• Ability to perform a continuous combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
• Comfortable performing repetitive daily tasks with consistent quality and care.
