Responsibilities
Tasks
• Prepare and cook Indian dishes, including curries, fish, tandoori items and appetizers.
• Prepare, marinate and portion ingredients according to recipes.
• Operate grills, fryers, tandoors and other kitchen equipment.
• Maintain food quality, portion control and presentation standards.
• Monitor food supplies and assist with inventory and storage.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen and follow food safety procedures.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to prepare orders efficiently.
• Assist in training kitchen helpers when required.
