Job Description

Responsibilities

-Operate and monitor production equipment and machinery
-Participate in the manufacturing of wood fiber insulation boards
-Perform material handling and general labour tasks
-Work in accordance with plant safety standards and procedures
-Contribute to production improvements and teamwork initiatives

Working Conditions

-$26.35/hour
-Evening shift premium: $1.08/hour
-Night shift premium: $1.28/hour
-2 floating holidays
-11 statutory holidays
-Full-time, stable, and well-structured employment

Requirements

-Ability to work a rotating 8-hour shift schedule (Monday to Friday. You will rotate through all three shifts on a weekly basis according to a pre-established schedule.):
8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.
- High school diploma (DES)
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Comfortable with manual and physical work
- Interest in the manufacturing industry
- Experience as a forklift operator (an asset)
- Experience in the pulp and paper industry (an asset)
