Due to business expansion and upcoming construction projects, Vantech Construction Ltd. - a growing construction company in Winnipeg, Manitoba is looking for a Construction Helper.
Position is permanent and full-time (35 hr per week) $23.5/hr.
Duties and responsibilities:
• Load and unload construction materials. Move material to work area
• Assist and hand over materials and tools for the carpenters in construction activities
• Mix, pour and spread the materials
• Lift gypsum boards and hand over to the carpenters
• Assist in filling joints, and vertical construction materials such as metal, wooden stud for wallboard attachment
• Clean up chemical spills and other hazardous materials
• Perform other activities at workplace as directed.
Requirement:
• Be able to handle heavy object up to 23 kgs (50 lbs) and be able to work on ladder
• Some experience as a general construction labourer is as asset.
