Due to business expansion and upcoming construction projects, Grandt Contracting Company - a reputable construction company in Kelowna, British Columbia is looking for an experienced Carpenter to work in company’s various construction sites.
Position is permanent and full-time (30 hr per/wk) $31.25 pr/hr.
Duties and responsibilities:
• Read and interprets drawings, sketching
• Build foundations, prepare layouts
• Build panels, footings, formwork
• Install platforms
• Form columns and walls
• Fit and install items such as doors, stairs
• Plan timelines and meet deadline
• Prepare cost estimate for clients
Requirement:
• Education: Secondary high school
• Trade Certification or 3+ years of working experience in similar settings or combination
• Work at various construction sites
• Physical healthy since job requires 8 to 10 hours standing, climbing, reaching
