Job Details
Job Duties:
• Care for and supervise a nine-year-old child with autism
• Help the child with bathing, dressing and personal hygiene
• Assist and supervise the child while swimming
• Take the child for walks and other physical activities
• Prepare and serve healthy meals and snacks
• Follow the child’s dietary needs
• Play with the child and provide companionship
• Support the child’s daily routine and activities
• Help the child communicate and manage emotions
• Keep the child’s room and play areas clean
• Wash the child’s clothing and bedding
• Shop for food and household supplies
• Report any concerns to the parents

Employment Requirements:
Terms of Employment: Full time, permanent, 30-40 hours/week
Start Date: September 1, 2026
Wage: $22.60/hour
Language of work: English
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
