Hoang Gia Restaurant in Kelowna, BC is looking for two (2) permanent full-time Cooks.

Several years of relevant work experience?
Your duties:
• Prepares and cooks complete meals of individual dishes and foods according to the restaurant standards.
• Maintains orders, supplies and inventory.
• Inspects and clean food preparation areas, such as equipment and work surfaces, or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices.
• Train new kitchen staff
• Ensures freshness of food and ingredients
• Check for quality and maintain ongoing standards.
• Maintain hygiene in working place and manage kitchen operations
Requirements:
• 2+ years of proven relevant work experience in a similar setting or completion of a cooking program or a combination of these
• Secondary School diploma
• Position requires shift work (morning, afternoon, late night closing, and/or weekends)
• Physical demanding

• Passion for producing consistent high-quality dishes.
• Dedicated and hardworking; honest and responsible.
Remuneration:
• $20 per hour for 40 hours per week.
