Job Description
Position: Painter Supervisor
Number of positions available: 1
Work Hours: 30 hours per week
Wage: $38.50/hour
Employment Type: Full-time
Start date: ASAP
Vacation time: As per law
Work Location: Various job locations in British Columbia.
Language of work: English

Key duties and Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the daily activities and schedules of the painting detailers/deficiency crew.
• Oversee and participate in the painting, detailing and deficiencies projects ensuring they meet or exceed the company's standards and customer expectations.
• Design and implement action plans to achieve the objectives of each painting construction project.
• Coordinate activities with other subcontractors.
• Address clients' questions, comments, and concerns and resolve potential issues.
• Identify and implement solutions to improve the productivity and quality of our painting services.
• Set up painting machines and equipment.
• Instructs and trains employees in safe work practices of construction equipment, tools and job techniques and Ensure health and safety regulations of each job site are followed by our crew.
• Recommend staff corrective actions.
• Calculate quantities of materials and supplies needed for weekly tasks and complete the orders with providers.
• Be actively involved in new hirings and training of staff.
• On a weekly basis present projects progress report.


Requirements for the job

• Completion of high school
• 2 years or more of work experience in the trade.
• Attention to detail.
• Good color vision and aesthetic instincts.
• Physical strength, stamina, and dexterity.
• Familiarity with painting tools and materials.
• Time management skills to ensure tasks are completed on schedule.
• Customer service skills, if working with clients.
• Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat, Safety glasses.
• Organized, Reliable, Team Player.
