Job Requirements:
Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Tattoo Artist required. Applicants must demonstrate the ability to create and perform custom tattoos in multiple artistic styles, including black and grey realism, micro realism, fine line, floral, colour realism, script, colour, animation, horror, surrealism, and custom design work. A professional portfolio showcasing previous tattoo work is required.
Tasks/ Job Duties:
• Consult with clients to discuss tattoo concepts, placement, size, style, and design preferences
• Create original custom tattoo designs and adapt artwork to meet individual client requests
• Perform high-quality tattoo in a variety of styles, including custom design, black and grey realism, micro realism, fine line, floral, colour realism, script, colour, animation, horror, surrealism, and flash designs
• Prepare and transfer tattoo stencils and position designs accurately on clines’ bodies before tattooing
• Operate and maintain tattoo machines, needles, and related equipment in accordance with industry standards
• Sterilize equipment and maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work environment following all applicable health and infection control regulations
• Explain tattoo procedures, aftercare instructions, and healing expectations to clients
• Schedule and confirm clients appointments and maintain accurate client records and consent forms
• Assist walk-in clients by assessing their tattoo request and recommending suitable designs or consultation appointments
• Deliver professional customer service ensure a positive client experience throughout the consultation, tattooing, and aftercare process
• Maintain knowledge of current tattoo techniques, artistic trends, and health and safety practices
Work conditions and physical capabilities: Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination, ability to sit or stand for extended periods, visual concentration, ability to perform precise, detailed work
Working setting: Tattoo studio specializing in custom tattoo designs, flash tattoos, consultations, and walk-in services
