• Required Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience as a CNC Machinist is required

Job Description
Responsibilities
• Compute dimensions and tolerances of machine parts, including corrections needed to achieve accurate bends and dimensions in accordance with drawing specifications
• Measure and lay out work pieces in preparation for assembly
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables to plan machining operations
• Repair machine tools and parts, including performing preventative maintenance, general housekeeping, and determining when repairs or new equipment are needed
• Set up and adjust production machineries/tools to complete fabrication in accordance with established time standards
• Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance
• Maintain, repair and calibrate precision measuring instruments (e.g., verniers)
• Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances, and ensure the identification process for components is followed
• Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports, including “first-off” inspections of components against drawings and completion of manufacturing process documentation
• Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometres, calipers)
• Set up and operate conventional and computer controlled machine tools, including loading, running, and modifying CNC programs, and programming CNC operations from technical drawings and blueprints
• Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments
