LP Custom Machining Ltd. is seeking a full-time Heavy-Duty CNC Machinist at 211 Barton St E, Stoney Creek, ON L8E 2K3, Canada. There are 7 positions available.

Hours of work are 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri (overtime pay after 44 hours). Pay is $37.00 per hour. Successful candidates must speak English and have completed secondary school. Minimum work experience is 4 years of hands-on experience.

Job Description

Main duties include but are not limited to:

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, tables, or sample parts to determine machining operations, programming, and the sequence, using CNC skills.
• Compute dimensions and tolerances and measure and lay out workpieces
• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machine tools for precision, non-repetitive machining like horizontal heavy-duty milling, boring, vertical lathe, and double-column gantry mill with 3-5 axes.
• Fit and assemble machined metal parts and subassemblies with hand and power tools.
• Ability to utilize measurement instruments to control product quality through the manufacturing process
• Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments
• Must have experience with parts weighing 2,000 – 100,000 lbs
