Store and Position Overview
Super Sun Farm is a retail store offering fresh fruits, vegetables, groceries and other everyday food products. The store focuses on providing quality products, competitive prices and friendly customer service in a clean and organized environment. The Retail Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing the store’s daily operations, sales, inventory, staffing and customer service. The manager ensures that products are properly stocked and displayed, employees perform their duties efficiently, and the store meets its sales, safety and service goals.

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities
Tasks
• Plan and manage the daily operations of the retail store.
• Develop store procedures and maintain high customer service standards.
• Manage the sale of fresh produce, groceries and other retail products.
• Monitor inventory and order products based on customer demand and seasonal needs.
• Select suppliers and negotiate prices, delivery schedules and purchasing terms.
• Check product quality and ensure fruits, vegetables and groceries remain fresh.
• Plan pricing, product displays, promotions and seasonal sales.
• Review sales, expenses and inventory reports to improve store performance.
• Recruit, train, supervise and evaluate store employees.
• Prepare staff schedules and assign daily duties.
• Resolve customer complaints and handle refunds or exchanges when required.
• Ensure proper cash handling, deposits and point-of-sale procedures.
• Maintain sales, inventory, purchasing and employee records.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation and workplace safety requirements.
• Maintain store cleanliness, security and loss-prevention procedures.
• Develop strategies to increase sales and attract new customers.
