Responsibilities
Tasks
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and install wood and other building materials.
• Perform residential and commercial renovation work, including framing, drywall, flooring, doors, windows, staircases, trim, cabinetry, and interior finishing.
• Repair, remodel, and renovate existing residential and commercial structures.
• Install cabinets, baseboards, crown mouldings, interior doors, and other finish carpentry components.
• Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment safely.
• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards, building codes, and project specifications.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other trades to complete renovation projects on schedule.
• Train and mentor new and existing employees on carpentry techniques, renovation procedures, safe work practices, and company quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite.
• Follow all workplace health and safety regulations and company policies.
