Job Description

Duties:

Perform scheduled maintenance and test automotive systems and components? as well as servicing, fuel and emissions systems
Diagnose and repair vehicle engines, electrical systems and transmissions
Remove, reinstall, and replace automatic and standard transmissions, front and rear suspensions, brakes, steering, and other? parts
Provide timely and accurate technical advice on vehicle repairs and maintenance
Identify ?p?roblems with vehicles using hand tools and specialized diagnostic equipment
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring compliance with shop safety regulations

Requirements:

Completion of secondary school is required
A minimum of 2 years of experience in the automotive service technician trade, or an equivalent combination of work experience and industry courses in automotive technology, is required
Red Seal endorsement or trade certificate is an asset
English language ability is required
