As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced and hands-on Restaurant Assistant Manager to help lead our team and keep daily operations running smoothly.

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: 28.00 CAD per hour
Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma (3 months to less than 1 year), or equivalent experience

Job Description

Some of the job duties are listed below, which are not limited to:

• Analyze budgets and identify ways to boost and maintain profitability
• Evaluate day-to-day operations and plan daily activities
• Monitor revenues to determine labour costs
• Monitor staff performance and provide ongoing feedback
• Recruit staff, set work schedules and supervise team members
• Train new and existing staff on service standards and procedures
• Balance cash, complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms
• Oversee inventory levels and stock records
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
• Negotiate with clients regarding bookings or use of facilities
• Participate in marketing plans and implementation
• Address customer complaints and concerns professionally and promptly
