Job title : Restoration Carpenter

Wage: $34.00 to $40.00 hourly (To be negotiated), 30 to 40 hours per week

Duties :
1. Inspect and assess damaged residential, commercial, and institutional buildings to determine the scope of carpentry repairs and restoration work.
2. Repair, restore, and replace damaged structural and finish components, including framing, walls, ceilings, floors, doors, windows, trim, and cabinetry.
3. Perform restoration work following damage caused by fire, water, wind, mould, or other environmental events.
4. Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and install wood and other building materials using hand and power tools.
5. Construct, repair, and renovate wood structures and building components in accordance with building codes, blueprints, and project specifications.
6. Remove and replace damaged drywall, subflooring, insulation, and other building materials as required.
7. Install interior and exterior finishing materials, including baseboards, crown mouldings, doors, windows, and siding.
8. Collaborate with restoration technicians, project managers, and other trades to ensure timely completion of restoration projects.
9. Maintain a safe and clean work environment and comply with occupational health and safety regulations.
10. Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards and customer satisfaction are met.

Qualifications:
• Secondary (High) School graduation Certificate
• 3 years to less than 5 years of work experience
