Care of Elderly

Work Days and Salary: Full-time, permanent; 30 to 44 hours per week, $21.72 per hour depending on qualifications. No work required on Statutory Holidays.

Requirements: Able to lift up to 30 lbs. Good English-speaking skills required. Physically capable of standing, walking, bending, and assisting elderly clients. Reliable, punctual, patient, organized, and client-focused.

Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk
Launder clothing and household linens
Mend clothing and linens
Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
Plan therapeutic diets and menus
Provide companionship
Provide personal care
Shop for food and household supplies
Prepare and serve nutritious meals
