Work Days and Salary: Full-time, permanent; 30 to 44 hours per week, $22.50 per hour depending on qualifications. No work required on Statutory Holiday.

Able to lift 50 lbs. Good English-speaking skills required.

Job Description

Administer bedside and personal care
Administer medications
Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk
Change non-sterile dressings
Collect specimens
Launder clothing and household linens
Mend clothing and linens
Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
Plan therapeutic diets and menus
Provide companionship
Provide personal care
Prepare and serve nutritious meals


Experience providing care and support to elderly clients. Must be able to pass a criminal record check.

Perform duties in a physically demanding setting, including a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and handling weights of up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).

Demonstrate strong professionalism through punctuality, reliability, dependability, and patience. Maintain excellent interpersonal skills, provide client-focused care, show flexibility in tasks, take initiative when needed, exercise good judgment, and remain organized in a fast-paced caregiving environment.
