Job Details
TNT Tools Inc. is looking for full time Machine Shop Supervisor for 150 Jardin Drive, Unit 4, Concord, Ontario, L4K 3P9. There is 1 position available.

Hours of work are 32-38 hours per week (overtime paid after 44 hours/week). Pay is $37.97/hour. Successful candidate must speak English. Completion of secondary school is required. Minimum work experience is 2 years machining experience which includes supervisory experience.

Job Description
Main duties and responsibilities are as follows but not limited to:

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of machinists, machine operators and shop helpers involved in the production of precision carbide cutting tools, tooling components and machined metal products using CNC and conventional machining equipment.
• Prepare and manage production work orders and coordinate external processing requirements to ensure production schedules and quality standards are maintained.
• Requisition materials, tooling and production supplies required for daily machine shop operations.
• Ensure proper use of machinery, tools and precision measuring equipment.
• Resolve work problems and recommend work measures to improve productivity
• Train machinists and machine operators on machining procedures, quality standards, workplace safety and company policies.
• Recommend personnel actions including hiring, training and performance improvements.
• Ensure standards for safe working conditions are observed
• Prepare production and other reports
• Assist with machine setup and CNC program adjustments to support production requirements.
• Review component drawings and machining requirements to assist in planning production processes and manufacturing steps
