Requirements:
• Must be lawfully authorized to work in Canada
- Canadian citizen
- Permanent resident of Canada
- Temporary resident of Canada with a valid work permit
• A respectable knowledge of food handling and environmental sanitation standards
• Good understanding of Indian-style cooking

Responsibilities
Tasks
• Estimate amount and costs of supplies and food items
• Demonstrate new cooking techniques and new equipment for cooking staff
• Supervise activities of specialist chefs, chefs, cooks and other kitchen workers
• Create menus that tend to suit the needs of customers, and, in some cases, suggest new dishes to customers.
• Verify that kitchen safety precautions are taken and that hygienic procedures are followed exactly.
• Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff
• Prepare and cook meals or specialty foods
• Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities of several restaurants
• Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
• Supervise activities of sous-chefs, specialist chefs, chefs and cooks
• Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
• Leading/instructing individuals
