Signature Signs & Printing is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Art Director – Graphic Designer to develop visual concepts and communication materials for print and digital media. The successful candidate will work closely with clients and team members to create high-quality graphic designs, illustrations, branding materials, advertisements, website content, packaging, and promotional materials.

Education
• Other trades certificate or diploma
• Equivalent experience may be considered

• 2 years to less than 3 years of related experience

Job Description

Responsibilities
• Estimate time required to complete graphic designs and illustrations
• Adapt existing illustrations
• Consult with clients to determine the nature and content of illustrations in order to meet communication needs
• Work in a multidisciplinary environment
• Co-ordinate all aspects of production for print, audio-visual, or electronic materials
• Consult with clients to establish the overall look, graphic elements, and content of communications materials
• Determine the medium best suited to produce the desired visual effect and the most appropriate vehicle for communication
• Develop graphic elements that meet clients’ objectives
• Prepare sketches, layouts, and graphic elements
• Use existing photo and illustration banks and typography guides
• Copyright and edit content as required
• Process files and paperwork
