TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
• Type: Permanent, Full-time
• Weekly Hours: 30 hours per week
• Wage: $52.56 per hour ($82,000 per annum)
• Overtime: $78.84/hr applies after 40 hours per week
ABOUT THE SERVICE & ROLE Technical Access Group is a premier provider of high-angle access solutions, specializing in IRATA/SPRAT technical training, specialized equipment sales, and technical site operations. We are seeking a Rope Access Project Coordinator to integrate our technical services—including bridge inspections, V-Deck installations, and high-rise maintenance—with professional project management.
JOB DUTIES
• Project Delivery: Plan, organize, and evaluate specialized construction projects from inception to completion, focusing on high-angle and rope-access requirements.
• Safety Coordination: Oversee the implementation of Company IRATA safety standards; design and validate site-specific Risk assessments, Method Statements, rescue plans and fall protection systems.
• Technical Oversight: Directly participate in on-site technical tasks at height using either travel restraint, fall protection or rope access to ensure construction progress meets technical specifications.
• Coordination & Management: Coordinate the deployment of specialized rope access equipment, manage and ensure training certifications are current for all site personnel. Overseeing travel itineraries and scheduling for project teams.
• Financial Oversight: Collaborate with Managing Director on financial oversight for each project to prepare and submit construction project budget estimates to clients and consultants.
• Personnel Management: Manage and supervise specialized technicians and subcontractors; coordinate site-specific safety orientations.
REQUIREMENTS
• Education: Post-secondary certificate in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Certification, Training & Knowledge: Minimum IRATA Level 1 Certification with progression to Level 2. Must be proficient in high-angle rescue and technical rope maneuvers.
Must hold a minimum of VDeck Level 1 Installer and have knowledge and understanding of VDeck and scaffold systems
Must hold an in person PPE Inspectors ticket
Must hold an in person confined Space entry monitor and rescue certification
Must hold an in person 8hr Fall Protection ticket
Must have training in coating surface preparation and an understanding of different industrial coating preparations
Lead awareness training
Must hold a WBC Supervisor training ticket
Must have Construction Supervisor Safety training
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience within rope access or high-risk height environments. Experience working in confined space entry and standby rescue, Tower climbing, fall arrest and PPE inspection; prioritizes safety and safe work at height. Must have working experience within the IRATA system. Must have previous experience working on Oil and Gas installations, bridge structures. Must be able to pass police checks, Drug and Alcohol screening.
Experience in Anchor testing and anchor testing equipment.
Knowledge and understanding of Rope access and working at height equipment is key.
• Language: Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required for safety briefings and reporting.
• Skills: Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate others; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; Excellent organizational skills; IT fluency (including Microsoft); Ability to work under pressure, manage complex projects and multi-task. • Committed to providing excellent customer service.

HOURS OF WORK:
• Full-time permanent position on salary
• 8-4 average 5 days a week unless covering Saturday or onsite operations or away rotational cover
• May be required to travel
• May be required to work on Stat holidays
