Job Description
Our company is seeking two reliable and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaners to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout guest rooms, hallways, and public areas, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant experience for all guests.
Skills & Requirements
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate preferred
Previous cleaning or hotel experience is preferred
Physically capable of standing for long periods, bending, kneeling, and reaching overhead
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of cleanliness
Must demonstrate integrity and respect for guest privacy

Job Description
• Deliver professional, courteous service to guests and residents’ family members at all times.
• Follow established work routines to operate, clean, and maintain equipment, furniture, and all assigned areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in all public areas and back-of-house spaces.
• Clean and sanitize windows, doors, walls, and other surfaces in guest rooms and common areas.
• Perform routine room cleaning tasks including bed making, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting all surfaces.
• Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest and public bathrooms, including sinks, faucets, vanities, mirrors, tubs, showers, walls, and toilets.
• Ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards to promote guest comfort and satisfaction.
• Assist with breakfast lounge operations as required.
• Respond promptly and efficiently to guest requests, concerns, and complaints; communicate room status updates to the front desk.
• Perform deep cleaning tasks and minor maintenance as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked housekeeping cart and storage areas; dispose of waste and empty boxes daily in designated bins.
• Keep staff areas, including the lunchroom, clean and well maintained; clean up after each use.
• Ensure all equipment and work areas are in proper working condition; report any issues or deficiencies to the Supervisor, Manager, or Front Desk.
• Handle lost and found items according to established procedures.
• Clean and maintain exterior areas, including building surroundings, parking lots (surface and underground), and garbage disposal areas.
• Ensure all garbage and empty boxes are removed promptly to designated outdoor bins.
• Report any safety hazards, concerns, or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Perform laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens.
