Job Description
New World Roofing Ltd. is seeking 2 reliable and hardworking Construction Helpers to support construction and roofing-related activities at various work locations. The successful candidates will assist tradespersons and other construction workers with general construction duties, material handling, site preparation, cleanup, and other physically demanding tasks.

Job Duties
• Load and unload construction materials, equipment, and supplies and move them to appropriate work areas.
• Mix, pour, and spread construction materials such as concrete and asphalt.
• Assist heavy equipment operators with securing attachments and preparing equipment for use.
• Assist with the demolition of buildings and structures as directed.
• Remove rubble, debris, and other materials from construction sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows, and other hand tools.
• Tend or feed construction equipment such as mixers, compressors, and pumps.
• Clean up spills and other contaminants and assist with the removal of construction materials as required.
• Oil and grease hoists and similar construction equipment.
• Assist other construction workers and tradespersons with general labour and site preparation duties.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and instructions.

Employment Requirements
Language: English
Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required
Experience: No experience required; on-the-job training will be provided.
