Custom Helicopters Ltd. is seeking an Airworthiness Support Manager to join the team in Winnipeg.

Permanent, Full-Time, 40 hours per week. Weekdays between 9AM and 5PM; weekend and evening work may be required, as needed. $100,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience. Position may require some travel within Canada.

Job Description
Duties:

• Report necessary maintenance matters, including Service Difficulty Reports (SDRs), to the VP of Maintenance and/or PRM (Maintenance Postholder).
• Process manufacturer (O.E.M) requirements, Airworthiness Directives, and Service Bulletins for applicability and inclusion in the maintenance program.
• Ensure maintenance requirements, including specialized tasks and technical dispatch tasks, are correctly identified, referenced to applicable publications or documents, and recorded.
• Review and process weight and balance changes and approve configuration adjustments.
• Oversee aircraft lease and maintenance arrangement requests to ensure compliance, serving as a liaison to facilitate required approvals and certification.
• Support PRM (Maintenance Postholder) in identifying, approving, and amending specialized and calibrated tooling requirements.
• Collaborate with Flight Standards to create, update, and manage aircraft Minimum Equipment Lists (MEL) through to regulatory approval.
• Support the procurement process to ensure parts, vendors, and suppliers are approved or qualified for the intended scope of work.
• Process repair, modification, deviation, and extension requests to ensure compliance and documentation of approvals.
• Identify and process off-wing maintenance activities to ensure work scope accuracy and compliance documentation.
• Support commercial requests for aircraft technical information, including specifications and configurations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Completion of a college or university program in Aircraft Maintenance, Aviation Technology, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other related discipline OR a minimum of 5 years’ experience in an aviation regulatory compliance related role (e.g., D.O.M, PRM (Maintenance Postholder), Technical records and/or Maintenance Manager) is required.
• Possession of a TCCA AME M licence or equivalent is required.
• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in rotary wing maintenance is preferred.
• Proven technical aptitude, experience and ability to diagnose maintenance compliance requirements effectively.
• Must demonstrate strong computer proficiency. Prior experience with maintenance or MRO tracking software (WinAir, AMOS, Ramco etc.) is preferred.
• Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills with the confidence to influence all internal stakeholders and external bodies.
• Must have strong communication, planning, time management, and organizational skills.
• English language is required.
