We are seeking a dedicated, reliable, full-time permanent Child caregiver - private home to provide high-quality care for our 11-year-old son in our private household in Burnaby, BC. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of excellence and a genuine passion for fostering a healthy, engaging, and supportive environment for children.

Key Responsibilities
Provide full supervision and care for one child in the employer’s residence.
Assist with before and after school activities, including overseeing meals and rest periods.
Organize and participate in educational and recreational activities such as games, crafts, reading, and outings.
Plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals; perform light housekeeping duties as needed to maintain a healthy home.
Implement disciplinary methods as specifically requested by the parents.

Job Description

Qualifications & Requirements

Successful completion of secondary school (Canadian equivalent).
Previous experience in a related field is considered a strong asset.
Child care and First Aid certificates are preferred assets.
Applicants must provide a valid Criminal Record Check, Driver’s License validity check, Driver’s Abstract, and professional references.

Hourly Wage and Work Schedule

Hourly Wage: $24.50
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., totaling 40 hours per week.
Occasional overtime or weekend work may be required based on the parents' professional schedules.
This is a strictly non-smoking household.
Room and board are available at no charge on a live-in basis; however, this is not a condition of employment.
